White/Silver CDs |
| We use White/Silver CD-Rs for all duplication. The bottom, or write, side of the CD appears silver, even after it is burned. The top side of the CD has a special coating which allows ink from the printer to adhere to the CD surface. Once the ink drys, the CD is very stable but it can smear if the CD is immersed in water. Note that all printing is done on white surfaced CDs. The white background give colors a brilliant appearance. So it is not possible to exactly match either print or CRT displayed colors. In addition, since there is no white ink in the printer, or white background on the CD surface, photographic images, or images that require the color white can not be printed. Please note that we do not sell blank CDs by themselves. We only sell CDs that we have labeled or duplicated. ![]() 2020 Dean St, Unit N St Charles, IL 60174 USA Phone: 630-377-3520 Fax: 630-377-6402 |
